Elena Henderson Biography

Elena Henderson was born in 1965 in Tula Russia. Elena immigrated to Canada from Moscow in 1996. In 2009 she graduated from International Academy of Design and Technology in Toronto with a degree in Design.

She then began working as a full-time artist in her studio in Orangeville. Her floral abstracts use a variety of acrylic textured paint and mixed media to create a sophisticated and elegant feel.

Elena uses her painting as a self expression translating the world around her into a language of colour, shapes and line work. Her use of outstanding colour schemes and exceptional texture makes her work stand out and create a lasting impact on the viewer. The results are high impact pieces with light, movement and drama.
