David Vasquez Biography
Much of David’s paintings reflect his Dominican background with fusion of Indian, African and Spanish cultures. The colours are striking yet soothing and it’s the desire to share this gift with others that inspires this self-taught artist. All of David’s paintings are rendered in either acrylic or oil on canvas. Vasquez’s painting can be found in the Museum of Ottawa of Canadian Civilization.
Vasquez has participated in numerous private and group shows.
Collectors of David’s work include: Actor Andy Garcia, Angela Bassett, Singer Nelly Furtado, and Tina Knowles.
David has been painting for 20 years and has developed a unique style appreciated by many people all over the world.
