Bev Redden Biography
Bev is a self-taught woodturner. Upon retiring from 45 years in the electronics field, he was finally able to use the woodworking tools he has been collecting for years and indulge in his love of working with wood. Bev uses Canadian woods but also likes to use exotic woods. He lets the wood inspire him as to which direction each piece will take. He enjoys making segmented bowls, some with hundreds of pieces. Most of his work is finished with tung oil, which brings out the beauty of the wood.
